The Cannabis Cured cultivation campus is located at 228 Norridgewock Road, Fairfield, Maine 04937, the same parcel that houses our Maine-licensed in-house extraction lab and our commercial cannabis kitchen.
Cultivar selection
Cultivars are selected for three factors: terpene profile, hardiness in the Maine climate, and direct feedback from Cannabis Cured budtenders across the Maine storefront network. Cuts that perform well at retail are scaled into production canopy.
Harvest and hand-trim
After harvest, every Cannabis Cured bud is hand-trimmed by our cultivation team and sorted into SKUs of bud, trim, and pre-rolls. Hand-trimming preserves the trichome layer that machine-trimming damages, and it lets the trim team flag any cultivar irregularities before lab testing.
Ten-day cure
Cannabis Cured flower cures for ten days after hand-trimming. The cure window balances moisture content for smoke and vapor quality. Flower is then sealed in nitrogen-flushed packaging for storage and distribution to the Cannabis Cured Maine storefront network.
Lab handoff
Every batch of Cannabis Cured flower moves from cure to compliance testing by an independent Maine-licensed laboratory for potency, terpene, residual-solvent, microbial, and heavy-metal analysis. Only batches that pass compliance testing earn the Cannabis Cured seal of approval and move to retail.
